Using Pinterest for your blog or business is a lot of work. You have to optimize your profile, focus on keywords/SEO, create click worthy pins and of course, don’t forget about your descriptions!
That’s just the beginning part of starting your account and building up trust. I haven’t even mentioned the strategy that comes along with having a Pinterest account.
So is it actually worth it?
The answer is YES. Although Pinterest takes time and patience, it has the potential of exploding your business in ways you could never imagine. There are so many female entrepreneurs, shop owners, etc. that are getting hundreds and thousands of page views every single month. That’s not even an exaggeration.
Check out Melyssa Griffin or Jenna Kutcher. Although they have pivoted their careers, they still focus on Pinterest. And I know for a fact that A TON of their email sign ups and course sales come from there.
Still not convinced?
Here are a couple facts:
- There are more than 2 billion searches on Pinterest every month
- Pinterest users actively research purchases
- 77% of weekly Pinners have discovered a new product or brand.
- Pinterest is now the third-largest social network in the U.S.
